Compact Power Hacksaw

I designed and built this Power Hacksaw about 10 years ago and it has proved to be a very useful addition to the workshop. After many years of sweating with a hand saw I really think thisis one of the first tools you should make if you are setting up a workshop.
Properly made it is capable of cutting a .015" or less slice off a steel bar and can cut material far larger than saws of similar size.
It is made from stock material, no castings are needed although I can supply a pulley casting if you are unable to find a suitable piece of plate or bar to make it from.

Watch the video to see it in action.

I have plans for sale, there are 19 sheets of drawings showing every part and assembly details together with 11 pages of photos and instructions. Please email for payment details.
My email address is myfordboy[at]yahoo.co.uk

There are pulley castings available for builders who are unable to find
suitable material to make one from.
